Dr. Paul Weiner
Dr. Weiner attended the University of Maryland at College Park, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Microbiology. After receiving his M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, he went on to complete his pediatric residency at The Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C,, and served as Chief Resident the following year. Dr. Weiner joined the Pediatric Care Center in 1989.
Dr. Weiner is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. An active member of the local pediatric community he has served as the president of the Montgomery-Prince George’s Pediatric Society and has been a long-term member of the Medical Advisory Board of the Treatment and Learning Center in Rockville. He has also served on a number of committees at Children’s National Medical Center, Holy Cross Hospital and Suburban Hospital. Dr. Weiner is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics on the faculty of The George Washington University School of Medicine. He is also on the teaching faculty at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and Georgetown University School of Medicine. He continues to be actively involved in training medical students and residents in pediatrics. Dr. Weiner is the Assistant Director of the Pediatric Care Center. When not spending time enjoying his patients in the office, Dr. Weiner enjoys spending time with his family, sailing, playing tennis and cycling.
